Created in sunny Nelson, New Zealand, every product begins in a spray-free, organic garden, where medicinal botanicals are grown, harvested, and infused into skin-loving formulations.

Wild Māra’s ethos is that every product contains botanicals from their Māra (te reo Māori word for garden) or Wild harvested locally with formulas designed to feel gentle on everyday skin, including sensitive skin.

No fillers. No synthetics. No shortcuts.

Just pure, simple, pharmacist-formulated, plant-based skincare made with intention.

Hi, I’m Debbie — founder, creator, formulator, and the hands behind every product.

With a background as a qualified NZ pharmacist and a deep passion for herbal medicine and aromatherapy, I’ve always believed skincare should be both effective and natural without unnecessary extras.

During my time working in the UK, I had the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading natural skincare companies — from growing medicinal plants right through to formulation and production.

That experience sparked something bigger…

A vision to create skincare rooted in both science and nature.

How Wild Māra began

“About 10 years ago, after moving to Nelson, I started growing my own medicinal garden — and experimenting with cold-process soap making”.

That’s where it all came together. The plants. The formulations. The purpose. Wild Māra was born from a simple idea:
