Lavender Coco Soap

Lavender - “Lavandula Angustifolia”, a very versatile botanical. It has whole-body calming & balancing properties. It’s one of my favourite botanicals & I have several varieties of lavender in my garden, māra. My main ones are “Pacific Blue” & “Grosso” which are used for their essential oils & therapeutic properties. It has analgesic & antimicrobial properties so great for any skin issues such as burns, insect bites, cuts or rashes. It can also help ease headaches, stress, anxiety, tension & exhaustion and is great for emotional support. It’s also a wonderful botanical for helping with sleeplessness.

saponified olive oil-infused with lavender, coconut oil, unrefined ghanaian shea butter, cocoa butter, sunflower oil & castor oil; home distilled lavender hydrosol; coconut milk; glycerine; pure therapeutic lavender essential oil; kaolin clay; purple brazilian clay; topped with lavender.

Before you use your soap, keep in a cool, dry place. Once in use, keep your soap on a well drained surface like a “soap dish” or hang in a “soap saver”. The more it drys out between uses, the more time it can spend with you.

Mineral-rich rose clay helps refine and improve overall skin texture, offering gentle hydration while promoting firmness and a brighter, more even tone. Finished with an enchanting essential oil blend of Lavender, Rose Geranium, Patchouli, Palmarosa and Geranium for a calming, grounding and beautifully aromatic experience.

A powerhouse of a soap bar.
I’ve formulated it to contain plant oils and butters that are especially suited for oily or blemished facial skin, and it can also be used on affected areas of the body as needed. Tamanu oil brings anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and skin‑healing properties. Hemp seed oil, rich in linoleic and alpha‑linolenic acids, is excellent for calming inflamed skin. The star ingredient is thyme infused in olive oil, high in thymol and valued for its antiseptic qualities. Activated charcoal helps draw out impurities and toxins, while the essential oil blend of lavender, tea tree, lemon myrtle and Mānuka MBTK 20+ works together to calm, soothe and support troubled skin.
