Lavender and Patchouli Soap

Lavender - “Lavandula Angustifolia” A very versatile botanical. It has whole-body calming & balancing properties. It’s one of my favourite botanicals & I have several varieties of lavender in my garden, māra. My main ones are “Pacific Blue” & “Grosso” which are used for their essential oils & therapeutic properties. It has analgesic & antimicrobial properties so great for any skin issues such as burns, insect bites, cuts or rashes. It can also help ease headaches, stress, anxiety, tension & exhaustion and is great for emotional support. It’s also a wonderful botanical for helping with sleeplessness. Shea Butter - rich in vitamins A & E, plant sterols, minerals which all help to lock in moisture, increase elasticity & nourishes dry, inflamed skin.
Organic Sugar - gives a mild-moderate exfoliation helping to remove dead skin & also helps to boost circulation.
Essential Oil Blend - sweet orange, lemon, grapefruit & lemongrass. A refreshing, uplifting zesty blend that not only gives you clearer, more radiant skin but boosts your mood & positivity.

saponified olive oil-infused with lavender, coconut oil, rice bran oil, cocoa butter, unrefined ghanaian shea butter & castor oil; home distilled lavender hydrosol; glycerine; pure therapeutic essential oil blend of lavender & patchouli; kaolin clay; purple brazilian clay; topped with lavender.

Before you use your soap, keep in a cool, dry place. Once in use, keep your soap on a well drained surface like a “soap dish” or hang in a “soap saver”. The more it drys out between uses, the more time it can spend with you.

I use a very fine New Zealand sea salt to ensure there’s no abrasive feeling on your skin. These salt bars are incredibly creamy, deeply moisturizing, and wonderfully softening to the skin. The lather they produce is almost lotion-like in its richness. After using one, your skin will feel as pampered and rejuvenated as if you’ve just returned from a luxurious day spa experience.

Luxurious Lavender. You’d think having salt in a soap would feel scratchy but not these. I use a very fine NZ sea salt to avoid that scratchy feeling. These salt bars are creamy, moisturising & skin softening. The lather is almost lotion-like. Your skin will feel like you’ve been to a day spa.
