Skin Calm Balm

Shea Butter - rich in vitamins A & E and fatty acids which has amazing anti-inflammatory properties. It is ideal for damaged, irritated skin & it moisturises deeply helping to soothe dry skin & improve skin elasticity.
Mango Butter - rich in vitamins A & C and fatty acids which moisturises & softens skin, is hydrating & soothes irritation & dryness.
Oat Oil - helps with healing of irritation, inflammation, redness & chapping skin.
Black Cumin Seed Oil - “the herb that cures all”, high in linoleic acid which helps maintain the skin barrier function and high in thymoquinone which has amazing anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant & antibacterial properties.
Jojoba Oil - a liquid plant wax that helps soften & smooth dry skin.
Avocado Oil - rich in fatty acids & carotenoids, it has so many benefits for the skin including being hydrating, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging helping to soften & moisturise skin, soothe & heal irritated skin, maintain skins elasticity by boosting collagen production and reducing the appearance of age spots, heal sun damage & scarring.
Essential Oil Blend - German Chamomile, Lavender & Mānuka Oil MBTK 20+. The essential oil blend offers a soothing remedy for calming irritated skin. German chamomile is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce redness and promote healing, while lavender contributes its gentle aroma and calming effects to both the skin and mind. Mānuka Oil MBTK 20+ contains natural active compounds, known as 'triketones' which have a broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties.
The mānuka oil I use in my products is sourced & grown in the East Cape of New Zealand. With levels at 20%, it's 20-30 times more active against gram-positive bacteria than Australian tea tree oil and an astounding 1000 times more potent than mānuka honey.Shea Butter - rich in vitamins A & E, plant sterols, minerals which all help to lock in moisture, increase elasticity & nourishes dry, inflamed skin.
Organic Sugar - gives a mild-moderate exfoliation helping to remove dead skin & also helps to boost circulation.
Essential Oil Blend - sweet orange, lemon, grapefruit & lemongrass. A refreshing, uplifting zesty blend that not only gives you clearer, more radiant skin but boosts your mood & positivity.

Lavender - “Lavendula angustifolia” It has analgesic & antimicrobial properties so great for any skin issues such as burns, insect bites, cuts or rashes.
Calendula - “Calendula officinalis” has antimicrobial & anti-inflammatory properties which help support wound mending by promoting new tissue growth.
Chamomile - “Matricaria chamomilla” has anti-inflammatory & calming properties which helps reduce irritation in dry skin.
Marshmallow Root - “Althaea officinalis” has a mucilage property which helps aid irritated, dry, itchy skin by forming a coating on the skin’s surface. Thus helping to maintain moisture levels in the skin.
Oat Straw - “Avena sativa” contains avenanthramides which help reduce inflammation in the skin, it also helps calm skin & relieve itchiness.

Apply to dry, irritated, inflamed or cracked skin.
Avoid eye area. Wash hands after using.
Please perform a patch test before using by applying a small amount of Skin Calm Balm to forearm. If after an hour, there is an adverse reaction, discontinue use.

Keep out of direct sunlight and heat, as this will melt your balm. If it does get a bit soft, just pop it into the fridge to cool and harden. Bear in mind that the ingredients may degrade due to heat.
