Lavender - “Lavandula Angustifolia” A very versatile botanical. It has whole-body calming & balancing properties. It’s one of my favourite botanicals & I have several varieties of lavender in my garden, māra. My main ones are “Pacific Blue” & “Grosso” which are used for their essential oils & therapeutic properties. It has analgesic & antimicrobial properties so great for any skin issues such as burns, insect bites, cuts or rashes. It can also help ease headaches, stress, anxiety, tension & exhaustion and is great for emotional support. It’s also a wonderful botanical for helping with sleeplessness. Before you use your soap, keep in a cool, dry place. Once in use, keep your soap on a well drained surface like a “soap dish” or hang in a “soap saver”. The more it drys out between uses, the more time it can spend with you.
