Bay Laurel and Walnut Scrub Soap: aka MAN

Bay Laurel - “Laurus Nobilis” The ancient greek god Apollo was the god of healing, prophecy & the sun. He was depicted as the ideal of “youthful manliness”. His most beloved sacred plant was Bay Laurel, it was used as a ceremonial herb, symbolising victory, honour and protection. The branches were woven into crowns for victors of war, winners of olympics. Today, other than it’s culinary uses, it has antiseptic, anti-fungal & antibacterial properties.

saponified olive oil-infused with bay laurel, coconut oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter, sunflower oil & castor oil; home distilled rosemary hydrosol; glycerine; pure therapeutic essential oil blend of lemon, rosemary, clove, patchouli, spearmint, ylang ylang & bay laurel; walnut shell powder; pumice powder; activated charcoal.

Before you use your soap, keep in a cool, dry place. Once in use, keep your soap on a well drained surface like a “soap dish” or hang in a “soap saver”. The more it drys out between uses, the more time it can spend with you.

Homegrown Lemonbalm infused in Olive Oil & made into a Hydrosol gives you fresh citrusy notes. I’ve used pink Himalayan sea salt which has an exfoliating scrubby feel to the skin. Great for someone who prefers a scrubby soap & great for sorting out the cellulite. These salt bars are creamy, moisturising & skin softening. The lather is almost lotion-like. Your skin will feel like you’ve been to a day spa.

A Detox Salt Soap. The Charcoal will help draw out any toxins whilst the Lavender Hydrosol has skin healing anti-microbial properties. Great if you have any skin issues.

Just to note: This soap is topped with Coarse Pink Himalayan Sea Salt which will be quite scratchy initially on your skin, you can either remove it or use the other side.
